Art Smart



This morning, Ms. Tanya led the group as they examined examples of VanGogh’s still life paintings. After examining examples of still life paintings by Van Gogh, students gathered in the outside classroom to create their own watercolor paintings. Provocations of a basket of fruit as well as a vase of flowers were placed in the middle of the table for the students to base their paintings on. Many students painted the fruit or flowers while others painted volcanoes, people, and birds.
